The Feilding Star, KIWITEA & OROUA COUNTIES GAZETTE. Published Daily. MONDAY, JUNE 25, 1894. THE KIWITEA COUNTY ENGINEER.

We congratulate Mr Charles Bray, junr., on his appointment to the position of Engineer to the Kiwitea County, and the ratepayers on having secured the services of one so capable of thoroughly carrying out the work entrusted to him. Although a comparatively young man Mr Bray has had a wide experience in the practical work of an Engineer, besides being well up in the theoretical knowledge of the profession. There is not a road in the whole district he has pot traversed,

while his topographical knowledge may be said to be unequalled. This 1 special information should prove of I value to the Council in many ways.
