The Penny Postage Scheme.
(Per Press Associatun). Melbourne, This Day. Premier Patterson bas communicated with the other colonies, stating that if they concurred he would cable to Mr Hennikcr Heatou aunouueing there was no objection in the co'onios to the establishment of a penny postage system bc> tweca England and the Australian colonies. The New Zealand and Tasmanian Governments concurred, but South Australia objected, and expressed its intention of adhering to the decision an i vet I at by the Wellington Postal Conference.
