Licensing Committees.

* TWENTY-ONE LICENSES REFUSED AT DUNEDIN. (Per Press Association). Dcnkdin, June 14. The Licensing Committee refused 21 licenses as follows: — Royal j Ship, Anchor, Britannia, Canongate, Royal George, Old Brigade, Grange, Pacific, Ayrshire, Star, Whito Horse, Shamrook and Thistle, Bull and Mouth, London, Prince Alfred, British, Carmalt's, Liverpool Arms and New market. They also refused four bottle licenses. At the adjourned meeting of the Port Chalmers Licensing Committee it was decided to refuse the applications of Wm. Hume for the Commercial Hotel, and Archibald Ainge for the Railway Hotel. As one was refused at the previous meeting this make the 25 ter cent reduction.
