(PER I'UKSS ASSOCIATION). London-, June 2. Mr L. Stevenson, novelist, in a letter to the Times, accuses Con3uls in ►Samoa of injuring the prestige of Chief Justice Ide in pardoning those, guilty of head hunting. He also claims amnesty for Mataafa and his adherents. The Times, while not sympathising with the complaints, urges extremists in Germany to accept New Zealand protectorate with equal treatment to subjects of all nations.
