Messrs Nolan, Tonka & Co. report : — Our Opuhake sale was held on 29th iDSt. There was a fair entry of stock but owing to extremely boisterous and wet weather tho att^nduueo was small, consequently eoverul lines were turned out unsold. At Manma, on 31st, very few stock wero yarded. Bidding was slack, exs centing for quiet heifers in calf. We quote — Weaners, 25s to 275 ; heifers and calves, £3 Ss 9d to £4 ; 2 year quiet heifers, in calf. £3 5s ; spring* ing heifers. £4 2$ 6d to £4, Ids; dairy cows, £5 5s to £5 10s.
