Fatal Accident.
MRS ANNIE MCKELLAR KILLED NEAR BUNNYTHORPE. A fatal accident happened near Bunnythorpe last evening by which Mrs Annie MeKellar, formerly a resi dent of Palmerston, lost her life. She was driving into town with her husband and a friend to" attend Miss Bessie Doyle's concert at the Theatre Royal last evening when the horse stumbled in one of the ruts so numerous on the Bunnythor: c road, and pitched the party out of the trap. Mrs McKellar apparently fell upon her head, and being a heavy woman, was instantly killed. The Rev Mr Judkins who passed on horseback a few mi nutes afterwards, galloped on to Palmer a ton for medical aid, but before it arrived the sufferer bad succumbed to her injuries. The body was removed to Mr McKellar 'e house and although there was no perceptible signs of injury, life was quite extinct. Considerable sympathy will be felt for Mr McKellar, who manages the creamery for the Dairy Union at Bunnythorpe.
