Birmingham Notes.

[prom ovb, own cobbespondent.] The concert which is to be held on Wednesday next instead of Monday as originally intended, promises to be a great success. Miss Neilson, the celebrated bar piste, the Masters Haybittle (cornet, piano, and violin), the Rev. Mr Richards (recitation) and several Feilding friends, and other residents near have promised to give their valuable aid. The tickets are also selling well which is a promising sign. The roads are in a very bud state for travelling, but not too bad for the swaggers looking for work. They mean business when they tackle our highways. Mr Munt continues to improve his section, and intends to have a large dwelling house put up for himself and family. They will be valuable additions to the settlement. There is some talk of adding a vestry to the Wesleyan Church here. • — — —^— — _■
