Fire at Blenheim.
(PEB PB2SS ASSOCIATION ) Blenheim. May 13. The Grosvenor Hotel, owned and occupied by R. H. Priddle, was totally destroyed by fire at 1.30 o'clock this after noon. The flames had an immense hold before discovered, and it was impossible to save either much of the stock or furniture, the value of t hose items saved probably amounting to £60. The outbuildings and stables, on which there was an insurance risk, were also partly destroyed. The origin of the fire is unknown. The in surances are as follows : — Hotel. New Zealand Office, .£2OO and £'300 ; Royal, £200. Wash house and stables, Royal, £'200 ; stock and furniture, National, £400 ; Norwich Union, £300
