Rumoured Resignation of the Hon. Jas. Carroll.
(PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Wrllington, May 13. The Gisborne correspondent of the Post writes that he has reliable authority for stating that the Hon Jas Carroll intends to resign his position in the Government unless Government keep faith with Judge Barton in connection with the Validation Court. The Hon. Mr McKenzie states that so far Government has not heard anything on the matter.
