A Million National Guaranteed Notes.

Tbe Canterbury Progressive Liberal Association carried a motion in favor of the issue by the Government of a million in national guaranteed notes, to have a currency of ten years, to be issued in the purchase of land tor settlement, and for roading and preparing public lands for settlement. It was rosolved to seek the co-operaiion m the matter of the various political and Labor Associations in the colony.
