— ♦ Messrs Abraham and Williams report:-— The entries of stock at Palmerston were email. Sheep were very dull of sale and business consequently limited. Sheep.— Fat wethers and ewes, mixed, 8s lOd ; f.m. ewes, 5s to 5s 6d ; aged ewes, Is 2d to 2s 9d ; crossbred lambs, 3f Cattle — Medium weaners, 18s ; poor do., 12b. Land.— We sold a section of 267 acres, Wangauui Harbor Board Block, partially improved, at owner's figure. Clearing sale. — At Mr Johnston's sale on Wednesday, furniture aud effects and stock were well competed for. Heifers, in calf, made £3 2s 6d to £i 2s 6d ; cows, from £3 12s 6d to £1 17s 6d ;.18-months steers, £2, 175 ; trap horse, £14 ; draught mare, JBIS 7s 6d ; aged do., £7 10s; breeding ewes, 6s 2d ; 2 and 4..t00th, 7 s 4d ; lambs, 3s Id to 4s 6d ; rams, 12s.
