The Pirates football team journeyed to Woodville on Saturday afternoon and defeated the local team by 7 points to 3. Members of the Red Star Football Club will meet this evening. The following players will represent Feilding in the first Cup football match of the season, against Birmingham, to be played at Feilding on Saturday next : — Full-back, Broughton ; three quarters, Moore, Robinson, A. L. Parr ; halves, R, Parr, Strachan ; forwards, Matravers, J. and B. Whisker, Giesen, Martina, Johnston, Brabant, I. Watts, W. Watts. Emergencies, Lawton and Mingins.
