The Egmoot Farm em ' Uuioa (Limited), report us follows : — We had a fair amount of cattle in Okaiuwa yards on Thursday, the 19 inst. Tho attendance was only moderate, and bidding dull throughout so that several of tho lines remained unsold at the end of the sale, We quote. — Cattle— 3-year steers, £4 8s to £4 16s ; fat cows, £3 los to £4 7s 6d ; heifers iv calf, £3 13s to £4, 6s ; empty cows, £3 7s 6d to £4 3a ; 2-year steers. £2 5s 6d to £2 17s ; weaners, LI 12s to LI I7e. Owidsc to the severe weather and consequent bad state of the roade yery few cattle were able to get to our Manaia sale on Friday the 20th inßt. so that practically no business was done aud the prices were only nominal.
