Selling Liquor Without a License
(7KB PBES3 ASSOCIATION.) Dunkdtn, April 16. At Balclutha to-day, Mr R. S. Hawkins, S.M., gave judgment in the case in which Margaret Guest was charged with selling liquor without a license. He imposed a fine ofc £6 and costs. He said lie did not agree with the course adopted of withdrawing the charge against the husband of the accused Leave to appeal was granted.
