Fatality at Sea.
THREE LIVES LOST. (PBB PBEB9 ASSOCIATION. Bluff, March 31. Arrived — Ketch Gratitude from Macquarrie Islands. During the voyage on the 26th inst. at 8.30 a.m. n sea of exceptional size struck the vessel, washing overboard three men — the cook, R. W. Green (aged 32, native of London, and married, family residing at Devonport, East, Ths mania) ; D. Henderson (23 years' A. 8., native of Scotland); and John Portwick, halfcaste Maori, employed on the Island, belonging to Ooloc Bay near Riverton).
