After three days' bitter wrangling, the shareholders of tho Freeman's Journal Company supported Mr Sexton against Messrs Healy and Dillon, who lost their seats on the dictorate. Mr Huddart is arranging with the Canadian Pacific Railway Company to erect cold stores at Vancouver. The President's message to Congress regarding the silver question declares the Seigniorage Bill a dangerous measure, likely to revive the financial crisis. He behaves it would bo safe to coin seigniorage silver if the Government were granted wider powers to issue bonds in order to protect the gold reserve.
