He wrote the cause >vas a lovely woman, who had broken her promises. The decased was thirty years of age and was unmarried. He has no relatives in Dunedin, but has a brother residing at Wellington. — Henry Bromley, eleven years of age, was drowned while bathiug at Poiuahaka, near Tapauui. New twaiouxu, ThisDaj. At the inquest on the body of a boy named Schutz, who was washed off while fishing on a rock near the breakwater, yesterday, a verdict of accidental death was returned.— Owing to the horses bolting, Mr and Mrs W. Pcllew were thrown out of a buggy yesterday aud very muck hurt.
