THREE GIRLS DROWNED. (PEE PEEBB ASSOCIATION). Sydney. This Day. Three girls (sisters), named Yeonans, were drowned yesterday in the Macquarie river, near Bathurst, in view of hundreds of people. A man named McCreddie, who attempted to rescue them narrowly escaped drowning as the girls tenaciously clung to his neck.
