A NEW ANGLO-CANADIAN LINEJPer Press Association.) Ottawa, March 5. The Canadian Government, subject to the sanction of Parliament, han arranged with Mr Huddart for a service between England and Canada in conjunction with the Pacific line. The total subsidy will amount to £1H5,000, The terminal ports are to be Quebec in summer and Halifax in winter. The English port has not been decided upon. It is hoped that the Imperial and Australasian Governments will contribute. Mr Huddart forms a company to build four twenty-knot steamers with cold storage capacity. The contract is to be for 10 year*.
