Disastrous Hurricanes.
GREAT DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY. IMANY PERSONS FROZEN TO DEATH. A FATHER MURDERS HIS FAMILY TO HASTEN THEIR END. (PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.) London. February 1?.. A hurricane has been experienced , over the greater portion of Greater , Britain. At Dudley, in Worcestershire, a number of factories were wrecked. At East Caistor, in Norfolk, churches were unroofed, and a steamer swamped. Lifeboats were sent to the > assistance of the latter, and rescued ' seventy five of those on board. Washington, Februarj 13. Details of the storm show there was gceat destruction. Reports from Chicago and the Western States also reveal a number of disasters. Twenty | persons are known to have been frozen to death. In Akahama a father murdered his family, numbering six i in all, in order to hasten their end. 1 In other localities numbers of people ' were frozen.
