Maori Obstruction at Levin.

J.PEB PBBSS ASSOCIATION,] Wellington, January 26 The Native interference respecting the State farm in the Horowhenua Block, near Levin, was discussed in Cabinet to-day. The matter is not regarded as serious, and is believed to have arisen through a misunderstanding on the part of the natives. The Government, however, are determined to enforce the law, and with that view Inspector Pender, with a posse of police, leaves for Levin by the morning train. It is expected the natives will withdraw their obstruction, and relegate the dispute to the law courts.
