Fire Brigade Meeting.
A meeting of the members of the Fire Brigade was held last night at the engine room. Captain Eade in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was read and received. It was resolved that the Art Union tickets be left in the hands of the Secretary for disposal. Resolved, That all members not present be notified to roll up to wet practice on Friday the 2nd of February, at 7.30. Resolved, That members desirous of attending the Fire Brigade Demonstration, at Napier, are requested to give in their names to the Captain with the view of going into practice forthwith. Resolved, That this Brigade tender their best thanks to the Misses Ivess for their entertainment on behalf of the funds of the Brigade, and also to apologise for the delay in making tliis recognition. Resolved, That members who have not been supplied with uniforms, be requested to obtain them at once from Captain Eade. The meeting then adjourned.
