Eighteen returns are still to come. Gisbohne, December 21. The Eastern Maori elections returns up to noon to day give the totals : — Wi Pere 2424 Tuninrangi ... ... ... 1188 Parahena Ngata 946 Hencire Tomoana ... ... 663 TeHeuheu 472 Haimora Mangakakia ... 196 There are twelve more returns to come but they cannot effect the result. Russell, This Day. The result of the Northern Maori election is — Hone Heke .915, Poata Uruanui 272, Eparania te Mutu Kapa 487.
