(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, December 14. Mr Pirani, M.H.H., interviewed the Premier this morning, and explained that a strong feeling; was current amongst a considerable section of bis constituents that a summer session was necessary for the purpose of amending tbe Alcoholic Liquor Act,particularly in view of tbe section conferring throe years' tenure on hotelkeepers. At a large public meeting resolutions tad been carried to this effect, and a deputation of leading temperance men bad waited on him and asked that the matter should be brought before the Premier as soon as possible. In reply Mr Seddon eaid he could give no other answer than that expressed to the Wellington deputation, that he was averse to a summer session in view of the large nurifber of Government supporters returned, and he thought the Act objected to should receive a fair trial.
