A strong tone perraded the market during the week, Continental buyers purchasing largely. Prices, though not quo tatably higher, tended in producers' favour. Greasy crossbreds, 6?d to lOd ; scoured, Hid to Is s£d. Melbourne, Dec. 14. For wool the bidding is spirited, especally for ordinary greasy merinos and crossbreds. Greasy lambs' wool is brineing from 10' d ; fleece, 9d ; scoured to Is 2d.
