» Cunningham, Badham & Co.'s Wellington weekly horse sale report :— Tho an» nouncement that a consignment of horses from Chnstchurch was to be offered today had the effect of bringing a very large audience together. Thirty-two horses made up the catalogue. Some 1 really tip-top animals came to hand, and the Christchurch horses were much admired. Bidding was not quite so brisk . as was expected, but this is accounted for 1 j from the fact that a good many of the '. cab proprietors were engaged at the races and consequently could not attend. Good spring cart horses arc worth LlB to L2l ; lighter sorts, Ll4 to Ll6 ; fairly i good hacks, L 8 to Ll2 and inferior sorts according to description. Tho very handsome mare by Yankee, was passed in at L 42, as LSO was the reserve, and L 72 was refused for the very highlyfinished rustic dogcart, together with horse aad harness,
