THE ELECTIONS.
TO TIIE EDITOR OF THE STAR. , Sm,— l find on looking through your 1 paper that Apiti is not amongst the places named at which Mr Snelson is to address 1 the electors. I hope this does not mean that his time is already taken up, and ' that he will be unable to work our district in. In the last two elections our district has done well, and given a large majority I to the Opposition member; and I hope i the coming election will prove we still hold true to our colours, and are gnide-J 1 by our common sense in our choice of a '• member. At the same time there is a > feeling amongst some that what is not worth seeking for is not worth having ; and this feeling may turn a few of the 1 weaker-minded ones from " the right , path " should Mr Snelson be unable to , visit us here. Hoping Mr Snelson will do , his utmost to come amongst us, and thanking you for space, I am, etc., Apiti Elector. Apiti, November 17th, 1893, IMr Snelson will speak at Apiti next [ Saturday.— Ed.
