Messrs Abraham and Williams re port :— At Pahiatua, on the 15th, a rather small entry came forward, some of the largest lines being flood bound. Wellgrown fleshy steers were in demand, and late values were fully maintained. A very nice peu of ewes and lambs in the wool excited keen competition. We quote as follows ; - Fat cows, L 6 3s to L 6 (5s ; good steers 2£ to 3 years, 14 3s to Li 13s j dairy cows, springing to cirive, L_ §s to Lif 2s 2$ years in calf, L 3 9s 6d tq L 3 13s.
