lI'EU PHESS ASSOCIATION!. London, October 29. Tallow— Medium mutton, 27s 6d ; beef, 275. The English wheat market is weak in tone, without quotable change. The Continental market is euactivo, and the Amotican has an upward tendency. A cargo of Victorian wheat sold at 28s 3d. Three mouths' bills are discounted at 2J per cent. Victorian butter, factory made, is quoted at 118s to 120s, aud duiry-tnadc tit 10S<. The fresh arrivals of wool up to date total 49,000 bales, of which GOOD bales have been sent forward direct to the manufacturing diatriuts. With the quantity held over from the last sales, there will bo about 195,000 bales available for next series. The New Zealand Land Association have received the following London cable message, dated October '60 : — Frozen meats — There is rather a better demand for New Zealand mutton, but quotations are unchanged since the last telegram. The lamb market is quiet, prime New Zealand lambs beinj,' worth per carcase ifyi\ per lb. Tallow — Tho market has a drooping tendency, but prices arp unaltered.
