Gorton and Son report : — At our stock sale at Feilding on Friday full entriea came forward in terms of advertisement, and 6everal very nice pens of hoggets were yarded. Th» bidding was spirited, and every sheep in the yard was sold at fair prices, though lower than sales a month ago. Cattle also sold well Our quotations are : — Cattle— Fat bullocks, £7 5s to £7 10s ; fat cows, £6 ; empty cows, £4 10s ; year and and 18-month steers, £'i 10s to £2 12s 6d ; cows in calf, £3 15s to £4 5a 6d. Sheep — Woolly hoggets, various prices from 96 4d to lls 7d ; shorn hoggets, Bs 7d ; ewe* and lambs, 9s 9d ; woolly empty ewes, 9s sd.
