Messrs Freeman It. Jack sou and Co.'s Wanganui stock report.— Cattle are not so brisk of sale us they were a short time ago, still we placed several lines at fair rates. Hoggets se]\ well, but ewes are not so saleable. Pigs maintain their values We quote: Cattle. — At Wav« erly— Fat bullocks, L6to L 6 14s ; cows, L 4 10s ; young stores, L 2 14< to L 3 2s 6d. At Wanganui — Forward bullocks, L 5 7s ; steers, L 3 Us ; yearlings, L 2 10s to L 2 16s ; wenners, 30s to 325 ; cows, in calf, L3usto L 4 14s ; milch cows, L 5 to L 6. Sheep.— At Waverley— Hoggets, 10s lOd to 11s ; old ewes, 6s. At Wanganui — Hoggets, 11s Id to 13s ; fat shorn ewes, 9s 9d ; .store wethers, in wool, 13s 6d. Pigs. — Good breed inc sows, L 2 os to L 2 158 ; large porkers, 20s to 21s 6d ; baconers, 30s to 45s ; smaller pigs, 10s to 12s ; suckeri, 4s 6d to 6s. Poultby. — Fowls, 3* to 4s ; duck*, 3s 6d to 4s 6d ; turkeys, 6s 6d to 8s 6d the couple.
