Wreck of the Mail Steamer Miowee.

PASSENGER? AND CARGO SAVED. |Pkr Pkess Association.] San Francisco, October lb. The Huddart Parker and Co's steamer Miowera, which left Sydney for Van* couver on September 19th. struck on a rock at Honolulu at 8 o'clock on the oight of October 2nd. The vessel is resting amidships and her rudder post is gone. The steamer makes but little water. The tugs failed to move her, and faint hopes are entertained of saving the ship as she lies in a dangerous position, and will break up if bad weather is experienced. The cargo was saved in good condition, and her supply of coal jettisoned. The mails and passengers have arrived in Sao Francisco. The Miowera ran on the rocks at the entrance to Honolulu harbour. An American warship attempted to ton her off, but every attempt to move her failed.
