The Bible in Schools
(per press association.) Nelson, Tbis Day. At a large meeting of clergymen and laymen of the various religious organisations last night, resolutions were passed adopting the. resolution passed at tbe Christchurch meeting re a text book of selected portions of Scripture for the State schools. A committee was appointed to further the matter.
