The Caversham Lii eral League have selected tbe following candidates for the general election : — City — Messrs Karnshaw, Pinkerton, and Hutchison; Port Chalmers— J. A. Miller ; Caversham— Mr A. Morrison. Wellington, September 29. Mr C. F. Worth announces himself as a candidate for the City iti the Liberal interest; Mr Walter Johnston is mentioned as a probable candidate for Wellington. The statement that Mr Bruce intends to contest the Masterton seat is incorrect. He has definitely decided not to stand for any seat.
