(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) New Plymouth, September 14. The Manawatu junior football reprc* sentative team defeated the Taranaki junior representative team to-day by 9 points to nil. Wisbart, Craig and Heigh ton scored the tries. Christchubcii, September 14. The football match, Southland v Canterbury, was won by Canterbury by 9 points to nil. The Manawatu senior representatives proceeded by the mail train to day to Hawpra, where they play Taranaki lo morrovr. Wilson, of the New Zealand representative team, who has been stationed in Feildinjj for some time past, accompanies the team, and should prove a great help to the back division.
