For roller flour of favorite brands, L 8 to L 8 10s is obtainable. The demand is slackening very considerably for bran and pollard, and the market for thtse lines is somewhat lifeless at 60s to 70s per ton, respectively; good whole fowls' wheat is in strong request at 2s 8d to 2s 9d ; baled straw, 55s to 60s ; prime short seed oats, 2s 7d to 2s 8d ; Tartarian do., 2s l)d ; good short and lone feed, 2s Gd to 2s 7d ; oaten sheaf chuff. 85s to 90s ; oatmeal, Lll to Lll 10s ; feed barley, 2s Gd ; beans, 3s Gd to 3s 7d ; blue peas, 3s 9d : split pens, 15s; pearl barley, LI B ]0s ; rye grass seed, 3s Gd to 4s ; cocksfoot, 3d to 3jd ; maize, 3s 8d to 3s lid for new and old, respectively ; eggs have come to hand in large quantities, and command Sd per doz ; prime separator butter, Is to Is UM per 1b ; dairy descriptions, 7d, Bd, and Dd ; the market is glutted with slocks of salt butter, which is impossible to quit at Gd per lb ; honey, 4d ; hams and bacon, 7 id to 8d per lb for Wellington and Canterbury ; cheese, best factory, 5. 1 d ; Akaroa, 4jd.
