(PER I'BESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland. September 5 The GrnernS Manager of the Loan and Moroanfile Afionny Company, Mr Battley, has received the following cable* gram from Mr Truaspll, in Melbourne: — " Melbourne, September sth. I have received the following message from London :— ' Committee met airain to-day. Scheme not yet finally settled. Hope to telegraph result on the 7th September.' " Mr Battley states that previous telegrams ! all show that the arrangements for the reconstruction are likely to eventuate successfully.
