(PKB PBES.« ASSOCIATION). London, August 29. About one thousand Welsh miners are in a starving condition. Mr Ben Tillett and others condemn the strike, aud nr^'e the men to form a union. Mr Tillet also advocates that the miners' \vfl«es should rejjnlate the price of coal. The Durham miners have again de> chned to strike. having arrived the miners' riot in Holbrook, Derbyshire, has been suppressed. Sydnet, August 30. The goldmine owners have resolved to reduce the wa«ea of quart/ miners throughout the colony, on September 4th, to 7s 6d a day for first-class miners and Gs 6d for labourers.
