-•■ (We are not responsible for the opinions of our correspondents.) A REJOINDER. ! TO THK KDITOII OF THK STAII. i Sib,— l was very much surprised ou perusing your issue of yesterday to notice a letter from A. W. Andcrson.in which he charges someone with calling a meeting at the Forester's Hall without first asking the permission of the Good Temp1/irs. I should advise him in future to ascertain the facts of the case before rushing into print. As 1 was one of two who called ihe meeting, I might enlighten him with the fact lh&t the meet, ing was not called without the permission of the Good Templar*, as the Chief Templar and the Secretnry were both consulted, and their permission given. Further, if Mr Anderson is anything out of pocket by us hnving the use of the Hall, if he will call on me, I will recoup him. — I urn, &,«., W. G. Shkaiieh Fcildinß, :Ust August, 185)3.
