Australian Cricketers
» (PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION). London, August 17. Discussing the cricket match against i All England, the Standurd says some of Australians were afraid of the bowling, and others got out through strokes that would have been ridiculous on a village green. The match was for the benefit of Maurice Read, a well-known Surrey professional, whose share of the takings i amounts to no less than L 1.200. The Australians are playing Glosces-to-day. The Colonials went in first, and were all disposed of for 207.
