At the annual meeting of the Foxton Racing Club on Friday last, the accounts showed a balance to credit of .£212 10s sd. Mr J. R. McMillan was appointed secretary, and Mr Coyle, uf Bulls, who it is an open secret has been acting as handicapper for some time past, was appointed to that position. The acceptances for the New Zealand Cup, which become due on the 4th proximo, should have the effect of relieving the list of some of the rubbish, and of several horses that are under suspicion of unsoundness.
