The second innings of the colonials closed for 303 runs, Gif Ten being tho principal scorer with 82- In the second ininnings Surroy knocked up 118 with the loss of eight wickets. Turner bowled in splendid form, taking six wickots at a cost of 54 runs. The Duke of Connaught will entertain tho Australian cricketers at lunch to* morrow, A match has been arranged on August 28th at Blackpool against the eleven of England. The team will sail by the Servia on September 19th, and play two matches in Philadelphia, one each at St. Paul, Baltimore, Toronto, Montreal, New York, and 'Frisco. They will, conse* quently, not reach Sydney till December 6tu - ____________________
