The Veilditig tnen wore individually superior to their opponents and from the commencement were acting in the aggressive. Shortly after the kick off R Whisker took a pass from Gieaon and scored the first try. The next score was made by Richards, who neatly took a pass from Robinson, and before the first spell bad ended J. Whisker had also crossed the line. When rides were changed Feilding still had the best of the play, and Richards, »&er making a good run, passed to Keen, who succeeded in getting behind the goal posts The Feilding boys still made things nierry and R. Whisker crossed the goal-line three limes in succession, thus making seven tries scored, none of which were converted* As atv exhibition of football the game was' not interesting, although some of the Feilding men showed that if they could only gjßt enough practice they would be fit for a senior team. R. Whisker, Ait ken, Richard*, and Gieson were most prominent far Feilding. Mr Matheßon was referee, find Messrs C. Bray and I Watts acted as line umpire?. The Ken Kalms defeated Awahuri at Palmerston by nine points to nil. The Pirates were beaten by Bulls by the narrow mar^m of five points to four. Tbe trial match between the NZ. representative team, and a Wellington fifteen, will be played at Wellington to-morrow afternoon. Shannon, of Marton, accompanies the team to Australia, as Caradus of Auckland who was originally chosen will be unable to play, owing to his meeting with an injury on Saturday last. The following will represent Feilding in the watch against tbe Kea Kahas on Saturday next :— Full-back, W. Smith; three-quarters, Richards, Robinson, Fowler ; halves, Aitken, A. and B Parr ; forwards, Whisker (8), Pickering, Gieson, [ Wakelin, Mines, and Keen. The brake I will leavo the Bquare for Palmerston at I 12.80 punctually. The following will represent the Palmerston Wednesday Halt-Holiday Club against Feilding to-morrow, on the Oval : Baoks, Ksswng, Bailley, Giorgi, Bedford, Palmer, Bay, Rash ; forwards, Kennedy (J>, Levy, Purser, Frankel, Pirrie, Wisbart, Cronin. The following shows the positions of the various dubs up to the present date :
