The Unemployed in Wellington
(I'KH FRSBS ASSOCIATION.) Wbllinoton, This Day. A meeting of unemployed waa held at the door of the Government Buildings this morning. About a hundred were present. A resolution was passed urging the Government to push on public work* to provide employment, and a deputation was appointed to wait on the Premier. The chairman, who is known as Professor White, phrenologist, said it waa to be distinctly understood no blame waa cast on the Government, who, bo considered, were the best in Australasia, but they were making this a means of letting the Ministers know tbe extent to which want of work had reached.
