Mr Sawers, Chief Dairy lostraotor. leaves to morrow for a lecturing lour through the North Wellington, Tara|akt and Hawke's Bay districts. We append the itinerary he has drawn up for himself merely premising that at each placemen • tioned he will deliver an address to the farmers at 8 p.m. on the dates that are given :— Halcotobe, Saturday 13th lnfct ; Alton, Monday loth instant; Patea. Tuesday 16th instant; Eltham, Wednesday 17th instant ; Bird road, Thursday. 18th instant; Colyton, Friday 19th instaut; Woodville, Saturday. 20th in« stant ; Ongaonga, Monday, 22nd instant; Makaretu, Tuesday, 23rd instant ; Waipukurau, Wednesday, 24th instant; Hastings, Thursday; 25th instant /Mr Sawers will then return to Wellington and go across to Nelson in order to deliver an address at Collingwood. whence he will proceed down the West Coast to Kararaea, which lie expects to reach about the Ist of Jane. He is now having lithographed plans' prepared for creameries of two different site*; batter factories of three different Btses, and cheese factories. Copies of these plans be will exhibit and* distribute Jtratui* tously amongst those who may require them ; he will also be prepared to supply copies of the following papers, which have been specially printed for him:— (l) General : bsn ditions of contract, together with a specification of the labour and material required in the erection of a factory, giving the sizes, &c, of timber; (2) a second form of general conditions aof contract and accompanying specification form; (8) memorandum of. agreement between employer and contractor ; (4) quantities and sizes of timber and all other requisites for large butter factory ; (5) do. do. for small butter, factory ;> (6) do. do. for creamery ; (7) do. do. for small cheese factory ; (8) specification for both sizes of butter factory ; (9) specification for a creamery ; (10) specification for cheese factory; (11) specification for a cheese-making vat of 700 to 750 gallons capacity. Armed with these papers every settler who intends, launching out into dairying operations can dispense with both lawyer and architect, and if he has a knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, etc,, may do for himsellall that it is necessar,y. — Times. *
