Manchester Horticultural Society
« A meeting of the Committee of the Horticultural Society was held at the Manchester Hotel iast Saturday evening. It was resolved, that the question of dealing with the special prizes for the Autumn Show be left in the hands of Messrs P. Y. Lethbndge and 11, L. Sherwill. It was further decided, to hold a Chrysanthemum Show later in the autumn, the date to be fixed hereafter. A sub- committee consisting of Messrs E. Goodbehere, Weightman, and H, Worsfold was appointed, for the purpose of drawing up a schedule of prizes,
