Wool Markets
(per press association.^ Sydney, This Day. The weekly wool sales closed with prices current for greasy fleece (superior), 9d to lid ; lambs, Bd to 94d ; cross-breds, 9d to 9^d. London. January 24>. At the wool sales 7925 bales were offered, but they were a poor selection. The competition was good and the attendance fair. The price for combings was on a par with the rates ruling at the close of the December series. Faulty sorts were in favour of buyers. New Zealand rabbit skins, fair to good, brought Is 4d, and medium to fair Is 2d.
