The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited), haye received the following cable message from their London office, dated 24th mst: — Wool — The sales opened this day at the level of last sales. Attendance of both Ilome and foreign buyers is good. Competition bj both Home and foreign buyers is active. The American demand ia good. The total quantity available, including wool held over from last series, is 395,000 bales, 108,000 bales of which have been forwarded to the manufacturing districts direct. Murray, Roberts and Co. haye received the followiug cable message from their London correspondents, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co., regarding the first series of wool sains ; — London, January 24 — Sales opened with good attendance of buyers. Market shows uo chauge. [ Markets irregular.
