The District Match prize money remains at L2O. The following champion shots are taking part in the present meeting : — W. H. Ballinger, Wellington, 1879 ; Churton, Wanganui, 1884 ; Remington, Wanganui, 1886; Purnell, Wanganui, 1888; Parslow, Auckland, 1889; Williams, Weilington, 1890; Kruse, Wanganui 1891; Doughty, Auckland, 1892 ; Ross, Napier (Carbine Champion), 1884, 1886, and 1888. In the Auckland match the following were three highest scorers: — J. Dickson, Peninsula R. C, Dunedin, L6 43 ; Corp. Guise, Wellington City Rifles, L5 42 ; A. J. Cameron, Temii 8.C., L4 42.
