United Farmers' Alliance stock report : — We held our opening sale at Feildin* on Friday, 13th inst. The yards were fuirly well filled, the entries of both cattle and sheep being far in excess of those advertised. We must again impress upon farmers the necessity of sending their entries in time for advertising. We quote : — Three year sneers, £4 15s to £5 2s 6d ; 15 to 18 months steers, £3 to £3 2s 6d ; 2 year steers, L4 ; springing heifers, L4 3s 6d to L5 2s ; milch cows, L4 10s ; weaners (small) 225. Sheep — Two tooth ewes, medium quality, 10s ; ewes and lambs, 4s 6d ; mixed lambs, 7s.
